The ACS Global Leadership Summit is an invitation-only event that empowers leaders of ACS International Chemical Sciences Chapters and International Student Chapters. These summit is a unique leadership opportunity for our global members, offering focused, hands-on training to develop leadership skills for local and regional impact.
Typically held annually in different regions, the events give global ACS leaders the chance to connect, collaborate, and make a difference in the international chemistry community.

How to Participate
Participation is by invitation only, offered to leaders of ACS International Chemical Sciences and Student Chapters who show dedication and potential to advance the chemical sciences and foster collaboration. Selected leaders receive an exclusive invite with summit details, giving them a chance to connect, learn, and grow within the global chemistry community.
Active Chapter Membership
- Active membership in an ACS International Chemical Sciences Chapter or International Student Chapter is required.
- Students graduating within 12 months after the summit are not eligible.
Get Nominated
- Nomination forms are sent directly to chapter officers and faculty advisors.
- For International Chemical Sciences Chapters: Officers can submit up to 2 nominees from their chapter.
- For International Student Chapters: Faculty advisors can nominate 2 student leaders and are always invited to attend the summit.
Receive Your Invitation
Selected nominees will receive an official invitation with details on the summit and next steps.
